1. What are the terms and conditions for buying Amazon.in Gift vouchers?

  1. Amazon.in Gift Voucher can be bought and delivered instantly in Electronic form through Email. These gift vouchers would not be delivered through Email. Currently, this web site has gift vouchers available only in the electronic form.
  2. Amazon.in Gift Vouchers (EGV) can be redeemed online against the sellers listed on www.amazon.in.
  3. 3) EGVs can be redeemed by selecting the payment mode as e-Gift Voucher. It can NOT be redeemed against COD (Cash on Delivery) Orders.
  4. EGVs cannot be used to purchase other EGVs.
  5. If the order value exceeds the EGV amount, the balance must be paid by Credit Card / Debit Card / Internet Banking. COD (Cash on Delivery) option is not possible for the balance amount.
  6. If the order value is less than the amount of the EGV, the outstanding balance (after deduction of order value) will reflect under the same EGV.
  7. EGV and unused balance of such EGVs will expire 12 Months from the date of issue.
  8. EGVs cannot be redeemed for Cash or Credit but are transferable.
  9. Amazon.in is not responsible if voucher is lost, stolen or used without permission.
  10. Amazon.in assumes no responsibility for the products purchased using the EGVs and any liability thereof is expressly disclaimed

2. Are there any delivery charges involved for ordering these Giftcards?

There will be absolutely no shipping charges for ordering Amazon.in electronic gift Vouchers. For e.g. customer has decided to purchase a voucher worth Rs. 1000 then, the amount debited from the customer’s bank account would be Rs. 1000.

3. What is the estimated delivery time?

Delivery is instant.  On successful completion of transaction the customer will receive the voucher instantly on his email address.

What is the validity of the Gift card purchased?

Amazon.in Electronic Giftcard is valid for a period of 12 months.

5. How to use Amazon.in Gift Vouchers?

  • Visit www.amazon.in/addgiftcard
  • Enter the Gift Card Code
  • Click on Add to My Account
    OR
    Go to www.amazon.in and select the items you want to purchase
  • When you are ready to checkout, click "Buy Now", and go through the regular checkout process.
  • Fill in your details and delivery address at shipping address page.
  • In the payment step, select the “Gift Cards & Promotional Codes” payment option on the left.
  • Enter your Gift Card Number when prompted.
  • Your order amount will get updated based on the value of the voucher
  • In case, your purchase value is more than voucher value, make the balance payment through your credit card or net banking.
  • In case, your purchase value is less than voucher value, only the purchase value is deducted from your voucher and the remaining balance can be used for future purchase.

6. How do I Cancel an Order?

Once the order is placed and processed for Gift Vouchers, the same cannot be cancelled.

Where will the end customer contact in case the voucher is not accepted at the online store of Amazon.in?

If your Amazon.in electronic giftcard is not getting accepted for redemption then you can write an email to our customer support team at csupportmr@euronetworldwide.com  and you will get a response within 3 working days. You need to send relevant transaction details as mentioned below:

  • Transaction ID
  • Transaction amount
  • Transaction date
  • Giftcard brand name

8. What happens if the customer receives a gift voucher of lesser amount than the actual transaction value?

If you have received a voucher of incorrect value then an email can be sent to the customer support team at csupportmr@euronetworldwide.com and you will get a response within 3 working days. You need to send relevant transaction details as mentioned below:

  • Transaction ID
  • Transaction amount
  • Transaction date
  • Giftcard brand name

9. What is the process if the customer has not received the Amazon.in gift vouchers within the specified time frame via email?

If you have not received the Amazon.in Electronic giftcard then an email can be sent to the customer support team at csupportmr@euronetworldwide.com and you will get a response within 3 working days. You need to send relevant transaction details as mentioned below:

  • Transaction ID
  • Transaction amount
  • Transaction date
  • Giftcard brand name

10. What will be the minimum and maximum denomination of gift voucher that will be made available?

The minimum denomination available would be INR 500 and maximum INR 10,000.

11. Can an expired Giftcard/voucher be exchanged for a valid voucher?

No, an expired giftcard/voucher will not be exchanged.

12. Can the validity of a Giftcard/voucher be increased?

No, voucher validity will not be extended under any circumstances.

13. When does the refund happens in case of a failed transaction?

For any failed transaction, the amount will automatically gets refunded into your bank account with in 3 to 4 working days.

14. Are there any additional charges involved for ordering these gift vouchers?

There are absolutely no additional charges involved for Amazon.in electronic gift vouchers.
